a letter to all leaders who aim to be better leaders
Dear Leaders,
Our society is being led by people who lack the awareness to see beyond their own selfish needs. This is leading humanity into a state of greater divide and trauma by the very people who claim to be leaders, both on a macro and micro level. From the global elite to the self-proclaimed conscious and woke leaders/influencers on Instagram—their selfish behavior stems from their unresolved trauma. The impact of digital technology has created the perfect breeding ground for leaders who are obsessed with how they’re being perceived. From the follower count to the ‘likes’ to the algorithm, social media is built to fuel the wounded ego.
I know you see and feel this.
As a purpose-driven leader, you see the trail of trauma that these so-called leaders are leaving behind within those they serve. You feel the grief and the frustration of our collective pain and yet, you feel lost among a sea of influencers pretending to be leaders. You may even be wondering how you can create change when it seems like they’re the ones garnering the most attention.
Let me make this clear…
You’re not alone in this. Many leaders feel the same and together, we will make a difference. This is why your leadership is needed.
As easy as it can be to compare yourself to them and do things their way (because you see it working for them), this is an invitation to focus on who you be and how you’re meant to serve. Let 2024 be a year of changed leadership—let it be the year where you lead your way—let it be the year where you take a real stand for the leadership you desire for our collective—let it be the year that has you rising as a Potent Leader.
Dear Leaders,
Make 2024 the year that you…
Lead with integrity, not persuasion.
Aim to teach, not to please.
Prioritize cultivating depth within your service, not your pockets.
Serve with compassion, not manipulation.
Value loyalty, not ‘likes.’
Remain humble, not boastful.
Embody your purpose, and not just speak about it.
Remember our shared humanity, not hatred.
Honor your well-being, not your self-destructive behaviors.
Be curious, not judgmental.
Heal your trauma, and not your ‘manifestation powers.’
Focus on who you’re being, and not what you’re doing.
Do things YOUR way, and not conform to their way.
Devote yourself to your inner growth, and not just the growth of your business.
Be led by God, not ego.
This is the way. Let’s work together to make 2024 a year that feels the impact of changed leadership. And if you’re seeking a little support along the way, TAP HERE.
